For me writing has been a life-long hobby, starting when, as a young boy, I was creating a “newspaper” for family to read about events happening in our world.
In my younger years I wrote mostly in Latvian, but the last decades have seen works in English, which I’m excited to bring to you, the reader, without whom this time-honored pursuit of putting pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard, would become irrelevant.
As you can see from the offerings in this web page, my interests and writing subjects vary, from observations on various world-wide travels, to deeply personal accounts of recent and on-going struggles with prostate cancer and post-operative complications. I’m also offering some fiction pieces, with many more in the works, hopefully lining up for publication, and more recently some essays about gay experiences of earlier years.
